The Develop the Developers Program is a free online initial training for high school students from the state public school system. Dev the Devs is carried out by the Regional Development Bank of the Far South, BRDE, Development Bank of Latin America, CAF, and the Science and Technology Park of PUCRS, Tecnopuc, and is supported by governments and organizations.
During the program, besides learning the contents and functionalities related to systems development, the students will also participate in a community formed by students from different regions of southern Brazil, will have contact with innovation ecosystems and technology professionals, access to opportunities and workshops about career and job market.
To participate in the Dev the Devs program, you must be 16 years old or older and be enrolled in high school in a public high school in the southern region of Brazil. No prior knowledge of programming is required, and access to a computer is necessary. Application must be made at http://pucrs.br/devs until August 28. The Regional Education Center of Guarapuava and Cilla Tech Park encourage students in the region to participate in this program that promotes knowledge in the area of system development and gives students more opportunities in the job market.
