Yesterday, 31st, the CTP team was present at the opening of the Specialization Course in Innovation Promoting Environments Management at the Midwestern State University, Unicentro.
The event was held in person and broadcasted by the youtube channel of the Virtual University of Paraná and included speeches by the Assistant Coordinator of the Technical Residency José Maurino José de Oliveira Martins, the course’s administrative coordinator, professor Sandra Mara Andrade, the pedagogical coordinator of the Gapi course, professor Zaki Akel Sobrinho, the Unicentro’s Rector, Fabio Hernandes, and the Superintendent of Science, Technology, and Higher Education of the state of Paraná, Aldo Nelson Bona.
During the opening, the participants talked about the importance of having a course like this one at the moment in which Guarapuava is in the innovation scenario, also placing Unicentro in this direction. They also talked about Cilla Tech Park as an important point in this innovative movement. “Cilla Tech Park is new, but it was born big,” says the rector Fabio Hernandes.
The keynote speech was given by the Director-Superintendent of the Itaipu Technological Park, General Eduardo Garrido, who presented the PTI, its actions, research and projects, and also showed the plans to grow nationally in the areas the park reaches. This shows the need for a course that prepares people to manage these innovation-promoting places.
