On Wednesday the 25th, our Cilla Tech Park CEO, Géri Dutra, the Director of Operations, Lorenzo Jr. and the Director of the Innovation Center, Isabela Queiroz, went to Piracicaba-SP. Our directors were representing the park in the Technical Mission of the Guarapuava Ecosystem to the Agribusiness Innovation Valley.
On the trip, the delegation got to know all the facilities, projects and ideas of the Piracicaba ecosystem. They visited the AgTechGarage, one of the main innovation hubs of Agribusiness worldwide, The Hub Piracicaba, a municipal public platform to support open innovation and scientific-technological based entrepreneurship.
They also went to ESALQTec, a technological incubator that operates at the Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiróz/University of São Paulo, as a support center for entrepreneurs in the technological area linked to agribusiness in developing their businesses. ESALQTec works with precision agriculture, an area of research and action of Genome Valley and the visit was aimed at our ecosystem to learn from the good practices already implemented in Piracicaba and that in the future they may also use the spaces in Guarapuava in their research and have innovative initiatives in our ecosystem.
